A few days after getting the membership we decided to check the place out. The only one of us that had been there before was Olivia, and she had only been once for a birthday party. It's pretty cool. Not quick as much fun for the kids as EdVenture in South Carolina, but still a pretty good time.
Since I'm two weeks late getting this posted, I'm not really in the mood for a play-by-play of our day. However, here are a few pictures that turned out well.
Our family astronauts.
(And just so it's said... WHY are these things still so fun for the kids? We must have posed in 100 of them by now!)
Connor had to get in on the action, too. But he didn't really get the "just put your head in" part.
For once, Maddox was able to get out of his cage stroller.
It was pretty funny watching Connor trying to walk into this section. When you walk up the ramp into the "space shuttle", it sets off this sound like you are in an airlock. It really freaked him out when he heard it and he came running back to me.
I didn't take this picture, but it just might be one of my favorites. Can you tell what it is?
There's a gymnastics section in the museum, and the girls spent a lot of time playing with this cool-looking contraption:
Even Maddox got tired of watching them after a while and came over to hang out with me on the sidelines.
He's so dadgum cute!
I guess I know where we'll be spending most of our winter...
