This reminds me of a snowman (snow woman - you put Grandma's hat on it) one spring in New York. The next day it looked like a teddy bear by the road; the snow had melted on the outside, and all the brown dead grass on the inside was showing.
I so miss the winters in OK. Fresh snow every couple of weeks staying on the ground just long enough to play with it a bit, then it melts away before it turns into black slush and ice on the sides of the road. <3
