It's been a while since I've given a good update on my kids, so I thought this would be a good night to do it since I have something to say about them all. Connor is now over 8 months old. He can roll over, but never spontaneously rolls from his back to his front. However, if you put him on his stomach he'll be on his back in 3 seconds flat. So he's showing absolutely NO interest in crawling. He does, however, have 2 new favorite passtimes. 
The first is going through the diaper bag and pulling stuff out. He will entertain himself for hours on end getting into stuff that's not officially his "toys". The crayons and books in this picture were in the bag because of church, but he gets just as excited about diapers and spare blankets.
His other favorite passtime is standing up. Here's a lovely picture of him propped on my couch. Don't pay attention to the basket of half-sorted laundry behind him. But he loves to stand up, by himself if we'll let him. He has no desire to crawl, but he will start cruising before too long. What can I say? He's just an overachiever. But all in all he brings us a lot of laughter. He loves the camera and always smiles and laughs when I take his picture. I never saw an Ervin male that would let their picture get taken without much arm-twisting... he must be a new breed!

He is such an adorable baby. I love how he will always smile for me, well, as long as I'm not the one holding him!
Yeah, right now he's a flirt as long as there's no "commitment". Just like a man.
