Note: For those of you who are sick of hearing about my weight loss, skip this post and move on!
I was talking with a friend in SC yesterday, and realized I'll be back to visit in about 8 weeks. In 7 weeks Connor will be one, and I have yet to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight (and shape). So this friend and I decided that we would support each other in an experiment of sorts. I just read an article that was on http://www.providentliving.org/ advocating running 20 miles per week for healthy adults under 50 and had decided to make that my goal. (To read the whole text of the article, click here.) After talking to my friend, we also committed to giving up desserts for the next 8 weeks, but otherwise eating in our normal, mostly healthy way and either walking or running 20 miles per week as recommended. So to make this official I even had Olivia take a "before" picture of me this morning to compare it to. I'll post an update in 4 weeks, and then another in 8 weeks to show how successful it turns out to be.

Good Luck!!!
Hopefully I will see ya'll when you are visiting!
You go! How many miles is it running up and down our street 3 times? Hahhahh! I'm raking in the miles!
I thnk it's about 0.1 mile up our street, so if you go both ways, that's a whopping 0.6 miles!!
Good luck! I think its great! Can't wait to see the "after" picture!
Let us know when and where in SC you'll be! I'd love to meet you :)
And when you come you bring those size 8 capris that we talked about. It looks like we have the same goal! I just started making a lot of changes, meaning bad eating habits.
You KNOW you can do it! Carrie is working on this same "project," and she's just as determined as you are...and as disciplined too.
Good luck! You've done it before and I know that you can do it again!
