What an "EdVenture!"

A trip to SC would not be complete without a visit to our wonderful EdVenture Children's Museum. There's nothing like it in Oklahoma, so we really wanted to go while we were here. As an added bonus, most of it is indoors and air conditioned (and it IS July and hot and humid here!) and we were able to meet up with Brian and Jess (and kids!) and Renee, someone else that I haven't seen since my Winthrop days. I got a few pics of the "goings on", but somehow I missed the rocket launcher, which was my favorite part! The kids got to make their own paper rockets and then launch them outdoors with an air compressor. Fabulous! However, here are a few pictures that we DID get:

Olivia's ambition in life: to be a Piggly Wiggly cashier!

Kelsey, as usual, just wants to shop.

And Connor? He wants to be a firefighter of course!

I've already achieved my ambition in life: to be eye candy.

And Brian? According to his wife - a goof. Mission accomplished.

Olivia and Jaina loved hanging out once Jaina was finished wearing Renee out! Here they are going on a safari.

And Connor was happy in the tadpole pond.

Till he learned to escape.

But eventually we wore him out.

And the girls, too! Now THAT is an accomplishment!

All in all, a great day finished off by a fabulous round of fireworks (see the next post!)

Yes, the bike shorts I bought have padding. It's really nice; it doesn't feel like I'm on a bike. Well worth the money. :)

How fun! I would have loved something like that as a kid!
